LVL SAFE® SBS Rack Reader
LVL’s tube rack readers are designed for the fast scanning and decoding of 2D tubes in SBS and Cryo racks. Depending on the application, CCD scanners and camera-based readers are used. Optional cryoprotective versions are available. A major advantage of our devices is not only the easy handling but also the compatible interface for easy data export. This means the codes can be exported to common data formats, and the readers can be integrated into existing sample management solutions.
LVL SAFE® Single Tube Reader
The stationary single tube reader scans 2D codes from SAFE® and all other common 2D tubes. Easy export to MS Excel, text, or image files allows for simple data processing. Software installation is not necessary.
LVL SAFE® Cryo Reader
The SAFE® Cryo Reader reads 9 × 9, 10 × 10, and 14 × 14 cryoboxes as well as all standard SBS racks in less than a second. The absence of glass means there is no fogging, reflection, or contamination, ensuring consistently reliable performance.
LVL SAFE® Integration Reader
The SAFE® Integration Reader scans SBS format sample racks and reliably decodes all common formats with 24, 48, 96, 138, or 384 wells—without any additional configuration—in less than a second. Specially designed for automated laboratory systems, the reader ensures a precise fit, high compatibility, and seamless integration into existing workflows.
LVL SAFE® Barcode Reader
The stationary scanner for 1D and 2D codes uses HD area imaging technology and a grayscale sensor with an 838 x 640 resolution. With a wide field of view of 41.4° horizontally and 32.2° vertically, it offers excellent detection accuracy. The SAFE® Barcode Reader is available in both wireless and wired versions, providing maximum flexibility in the laboratory environment.
