The innovative SAFE® 2D tubes have been thoroughly redesigned to offer top performance and user-friendliness.

Clearly identifiable racks and tubes secure your samples for decades when stored correctly.

In addition to visual differentiation through various cap colors, the tube features fixed coding, space for individual coding, and space for your logo/study project or similar. The tube coding ensures that your samples are triply secured and can be identified both visually (HR code) and by using the appropriate SAFE® readers (2D/1D code).

The SAFE® LX1000 Tube combines a 1,000 µl working volume with a compact design for SBS 96 racks. The side coding with 1D barcode and human readable code complements the bottom 2D code and supports three-way sample identification: automated, scanner-based and visually readable.

SAFE® LX1000 Tube with Free Marking Area

In this version, the side area of the SAFE® LX1000 Tube remains without a visible 1D or HR side code. The unique 2D code on the tube bottom remains the main basis for automated sample identification. The free area can be used for individual markings, project references or customer-specific coding concepts.
