The LVL tube racks are a practical and proven system for cost-effective sample archiving in individual tubes. These racks are available in different heights to meet the specific requirements of modern laboratories. The 96 tubes (1.2 and 0.65 ml) are individually removable but connected by a holder frame, preventing them from falling out. An alphanumeric code at the bottom of the tubes facilitates identification. The rack complies with the SBS format, making it suitable for all pipetting robots.

Two different variants cater to the requirements of various automation manufacturers. The sturdy construction is sealed dust-tight with a lid. A beveled corner on the rack ensures clear positioning of the refill unit. The side surfaces can be labeled with a barcode. The LVL sample rack is made of polypropylene (PP), autoclavable at 121°C, and temperature-resistant down to -80°C. The tubes of the LVL sample rack are available individually, as 8-strip tubes, or in a 96-format refill system within an 8×12 carrier frame. The tubes can be sealed with closure mats, 8-strip caps, or self-adhesive foil.
