The SAFE® Push Caps from LVL technologies offer a simple and efficient solution for sealing your sample tubes. These Push Cap Mats are specifically designed to ensure maximum tightness and stability, making them ideal for sample storage in demanding laboratory environments.
Application: The SAFE® Push Caps are compatible with SAFE® tubes with internal threads (PC96-IT…) and external threads (PC96-XT…). They are available in over 12 different colors to facilitate sample differentiation.
Materials and Features: The Push Caps are made from thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and are easy to handle. By pressing the mat once, you can simultaneously seal 96 tubes individually. The Push Caps are also available in strips of 8 and 12.
Storage and Purity: The SAFE® Push Caps are suitable for storage at temperatures down to -80° C. They are manufactured in a clean room (ISO 8) and certified to be free of DNA, DNase, RNase, and endotoxins. Optional additional sterilization is available.

The LVL Tube Laser Marker TLM 864:
Although the automation-friendly Data-Matrix code on the bottom of storage tubes has been standard for many years—and has greatly simplified sample handling—many users want to mark the tubes with their specific information. At the same time, they want to move away from time-consuming and unreliable labeling methods.
For this need, LVL has developed a fully automatic tube laser marker. The TLM 864 can automatically laser-mark SAFE® tubes in SBS 96, SBS 48, and SBS 24 formats from two sides and link the information in a database with the 2D code previously lasered during production. Up to 500 tubes per hour can be coded from nine SBS/ANSI positions.
