SAFE® 24 XT - 2D Tubes with External Thread in 24 SBS Format
The SAFE® 24 XT tubes complete the high end of the LVL Technologies SBS product line, offering tailored solutions for sample storage in the 24 SBS format. These 2D-coded tubes combine the advantages of SAFE® XT technology, such as the lowest risk of cross-contamination, the most efficient use of storage space, and the patented two-phase compression seal. Each tube is specially tailored to the needs of modern biobanking.
The XXLX 2000 tubes are traditionally suitable as tissue vessels due to their low height and large diameter, but they are also ideal for liquids. The XXLX 4000 and XXLX 6000 tubes are perfect for storing larger tissue samples and larger volumes of liquids. They offer a reformatted tube storage solution for frozen legacy samples such as Cryo Tubes, Eppi™ Tubes, Sarstedt™ Micro Tubes, Nunc® CryoTubes®, and WHEATON® CryoElite™. The XXLX 8000 tubes are the ideal solution for storing large sample volumes.

Triple security for your samples with triple coding of the tube:
a 1D side code, side plain text, and a 2D bottom code.
This ensures secure and easy identification and retrieval of your samples. Simply connect the coding with your sample using our SAFE® Tube or SAFE® Rack Reader.
- Customizable Free Space
Additionally, there is ample space for custom coding, which can contain specific information about your lab or samples. The side black area is laser-etched with the LVL logo by default but can be customized for free upon request.
- 2D Bottom Code and Protective Rim
The tubes are equipped with a unique 2D bottom code that enables fast and secure identification.
To ensure the integrity of your samples, the bottom code is protected by a special rim against mechanical influences.
Rack Coding
The new automation-friendly LVL SAFE® 2D rack offers maximum efficiency, safety, and quality in your laboratory.
Side Rack Coding:

Bottom Orientation Code:
Three new areas for additional information: The revised design includes three new areas to accommodate additional information about the rack and tubes, perfecting traceability and documentation.
