MDF-DC500VX-PE - ULTRA-LOW TEMPERATURE FREEZER FOR SECURE SAMPLE STORAGE
The TwinGuard freezer type MDF-DC500VX (-86°C) offers an unparalleled level of protection and sample security, which is crucial for valuable biological samples, as well as exceptional ease of use and data monitoring.
The dual cooling system offers the highest level of protection by using two independent cooling systems. If one system suddenly fails, the other ensures that the freezer remains within a temperature range of -70°C.
Improved temperature performance of TwinGuard ultra-low temperature freezers
TwinGuard freezers ensure even better temperature stability and uniformity during routine door openings than equivalent cabinet models, as less cold air escapes when the door is opened.
Ideal for:
- Temperature-sensitive samples, such as therapeutics and tissue samples.
- Samples that need to remain viable, such as stem cells, cultured tissue, organs, vaccines, hybridoma cells, cancer cells, or fibroblasts.
- Samples for longitudinal studies.
- Important samples for medical research.
- Valuable pharmaceutical products.
- Samples for clinical trials.
- Pathogenic samples in high-security laboratories.
Advantages:
- Highest sample protection with the very secure dual cooling system
- Improved temperature performance
- Enhanced usability and intelligent security
- VIP PLUS offers 30% more storage capacity compared to conventionally insulated freezers with a similar footprint.
- Approximately 15% energy savings in ECO mode.
- Smart interface data logging function.
- Certified as a Class IIa medical device

A completely redesigned automation-friendly rack and tube take our long-term storage tubes to the next level. Join us and upgrade your sample storage. In addition to more than 13 different cap colors and countless possibilities for customizing tube and rack coding, we adapt your sample storage system to your needs and preferences.
The LVL Tube Laser Marker TLM 864:
Although the automation-friendly Data-Matrix code on the bottom of storage tubes has been standard for many years—and has greatly simplified sample handling—many users want to mark the tubes with their specific information. At the same time, they want to move away from time-consuming and unreliable labeling methods.
For this need, LVL has developed a fully automatic tube laser marker. The TLM 864 can automatically laser-mark SAFE® tubes in SBS 96, SBS 48, and SBS 24 formats from two sides and link the information in a database with the 2D code previously lasered during production. Up to 500 tubes per hour can be coded from nine SBS/ANSI positions.
