Microtiter Plates for Routine Laboratory Applications

For routine applications in diagnostics, transfusion medicine, and high throughput screening (HTS)

Microtiter plates are indispensable tools in your laboratory and are available for a variety of applications in life science research. They are used for filtration, separation, optical detection, storage, and reaction mixtures. These plates, also known as microtiter plates or “well plates,” are typically rectangular in a 2:3 format with isolated cavities (wells) in sizes 96 or 384. There are other formats with variable heights and fill volumes on the same footprint. The cavities can be flat, conical, or u-shaped, depending on the requirements.

Microtiter plates are usually made from polystyrene, while glass plates are used for special applications. There are transparent plates for optical measurements, black plates for fluorescence measurements, and white plates for luminescence measurements. These plates are available in both sterile and non-sterile versions.

LVL offers a wide selection of microtiter plates, including deep-well plates, PCR plates, and the appropriate accessories such as sealing mats and lids.
