Our SAFE® CAP SEAL AUTOMATIC is specifically designed to make applying sealing or septum mats to tube racks in SBS format as easy as possible. With our device, simply place your rack or plate in the drawer and then seal it manually. Pressing the large, glove-friendly start button initiates the sealing process. Thanks to its advanced electronics, the device guarantees reproducible and consistent pressure to precisely set the sealing mats into each tube. With SAFE® CAP SEAL AUTOMATIC, leave the tedious work to us. A standout feature of our device is the fast and reliable sealing of your sample tubes.
This compact benchtop device requires only a 110- or 220-volt power supply and is small enough to fit comfortably on your lab bench. It works seamlessly with most commercially available septum cap mats, as well as with 2D-coded and uncoded tubes in SBS format racks. Our device handles friction and septum closures for 96-, 48-, and 24-tube plates, offering three different pressure settings.
Included are a 4.5 mm and a 14 mm high rack adapter; other rack adapters are available upon request.

Although the automation-friendly Data-Matrix code on the bottom of storage tubes has been standard for many years—and has greatly simplified sample handling—many users want to mark the tubes with their specific information. At the same time, they want to move away from time-consuming and unreliable labeling methods.
For this need, LVL has developed a fully automatic tube laser marker. The TLM 864 can automatically laser-mark SAFE® tubes in SBS 96, SBS 48, and SBS 24 formats from two sides and link the information in a database with the 2D code previously lasered during production. Up to 500 tubes per hour can be coded from nine SBS/ANSI positions.
