STATION ONE - VERSATILE SOLUTION FOR YOUR SAMPLE PROCESSING
Station One thaws frozen samples and reagents in a fraction of the time using only ambient air. Two fans draw in ambient air and direct it upwards through a perforated thawing plate, where it circulates over and around the samples.
This simple process reduces the thawing time of samples and reagents by up to 75% without the need for added heat. Edge effects, cold starts, and thermal fluctuations from sample to sample are avoided. And the fixed platform enables highly reproducible thawing that can be process validated according to GMP/QSR, USP, and ISO.
The Station One’s A.I.R. (Automatic Internal Redistribution) system is a breakthrough in itself. Air is drawn in by two fixed-speed fans. The sealed internal chamber builds up a constant positive pressure that gently flows upwards, continuously refreshing the cool air around the samples with ambient air. The airflow, obstructed by the samples placed on the thawing surface, naturally and evenly distributes within.
The result is a proportional increase in airflow through the open airways around and between the samples. This fundamental feature ensures optimal thawing for any small or large task. The device has accessory slots suitable for most standard tubes from 1 to 50 ml.
The device’s large thawing surface can accommodate two microtiter plates or microtube racks at once. With the included accessory slots, 34 large tubes (15-50 ml) or 52 small tubes (1-2 ml) can be thawed in a single cycle. The Station One has a compact footprint and consumes only a small amount of power.

The LVL Tube Laser Marker TLM 864:
Although the automation-friendly Data-Matrix code on the bottom of storage tubes has been standard for many years—and has greatly simplified sample handling—many users want to mark the tubes with their specific information. At the same time, they want to move away from time-consuming and unreliable labeling methods.
For this need, LVL has developed a fully automatic tube laser marker. The TLM 864 can automatically laser-mark SAFE® tubes in SBS 96, SBS 48, and SBS 24 formats from two sides and link the information in a database with the 2D code previously lasered during production. Up to 500 tubes per hour can be coded from nine SBS/ANSI positions.
