The LVL Tube Laser Marker TLM 864:
Although the automation-friendly Data-Matrix code on the bottom of storage tubes has been standard for many years—and has greatly simplified sample handling—many users want to mark the tubes with their specific information. At the same time, they want to move away from time-consuming and unreliable labeling methods.
For this need, LVL has developed a fully automatic tube laser marker. The TLM 864 can automatically laser-mark SAFE® tubes in SBS 96, SBS 48, and SBS 24 formats from two sides and link the information in a database with the 2D code previously lasered during production. Up to 500 tubes per hour can be coded from nine SBS/ANSI positions.

The SAFE® Screw Caps from LVL technologies offer a premium solution for securely and reliably sealing your sample tubes. These screw caps are specially designed to ensure maximum tightness and stability, making them ideal for sample storage in demanding laboratory environments.
Co-molded TPE Compression Seal in the SAFE® Screw Cap: This unique sealing component has been tested by both IATA and for CO2 and provides 100% CO2 tightness. The caps are IATA-certified, ensuring that they reliably prevent the leakage of liquids or gases.
External Thread: The external thread design of the SAFE® Screw Caps offers a space-saving solution compared to internal thread screw caps and Cryo Box storage. This design also prevents the risk of cross-contamination and manual over-tightening of the caps.
Materials and Properties: The caps are made of polypropylene (PP), while the seal is made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). The caps are suitable for use with automatic, semi-automatic, and manual cappers/decappers and can be stored at temperatures as low as -196°C (LN2).
Color Selection and Availability: The SAFE® Screw Caps are available in over 16 different colors and can be ordered pre-screwed, on a cap rack (Cap Carrier), or in bags. All caps are manufactured in an ISO 8 cleanroom and are certified free of DNA, DNase, RNase, and endotoxin. Optional additional sterilization by e-beam is also available.
